Fire Charlie, Hire Dutch
It seems like the only logical move at this point. The Phillies are 1-6 and Vincente Padilla has more wins than the entire Phillies teams. Firing Charlie Manuel isn't the only move which needs to be made. The Phillies have to go BIG and by big I mean metaphysical in their next hiring. They need to bring in someone who hasn't only lost his marbles, but is a legend in this town.

Free-spirited Darren Daulton spent 14 major league seasons behind home plate and was a three-time all-star, as well as playing for the Philadelphia Phillies in the 1993 World Series. Now, the athlete affectionately known as "Dutch" concerns himself with out-of-body experiences, vibrating energy, and the limitations of linear time. Daulton arrived at this metaphysical crossroads after several arrests for drunk driving and domestic abuse, and a three-month stretch behind bars. But the former catcher says he previously had inklings of his otherworldly connections when he played against the Cubs at Wrigley Field and stroked a line drive that he describes as being hit by someone else. In collaboration with Sports Illustrated, correspondent Mary Carillo drops in on Daulton, who resides in Florida, and believes that on Dec. 21, 2012, at 11:11 a.m., he will achieve a "higher level of consciousness."
A higher level of consciousness is exactly what Phillies fans are looking for, except Sid, who has reached that level long before the rest of us.
think if daulton was the coach, they could travel BACK in time and have Wild Thing get that ball a bit lower to joe carter?
