Owens Ankle Screwed Up Again

ESPN: Ankle injury on same leg as last year.

Receiver Terrell Owens has told the Eagles that his availability for two key NFC East games against the Redskins and Cowboys is in jeopardy because of a sprained ankle he sustained against the Broncos in Denver on Sunday, sources have told ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

The part of this article that is bizarre is the fact that T.O. is simply telling the Eagles he can't play this week and maybe not next week?  Shouldn't there be some input from the doctors?  Can things get any worse for the Birds?  I don't even remember T.O. being hurt during the game Sunday.  This is bad news; it makes you wish we were just talking about pink tuxs again.

My prediction if these reports are true: McNabb will play like the Supa5 we all knew and loved last year, then when TO comes back he will get even better. Sounds crazy, but you heard it here 1st.

Ha! This season just gets better and better.
