What will the Philly Fans Cheer this Weekend?
With the Red Sox coming to town, and bringing their "Nation" along with them, there will certainly be a lot of annoying fans all wearing the same exact blue hat with a red B on it. It is illegal to live in Boston, be a male, and not own the same exact hat as the entire city. Its wicked hahd coah.
When the Mets fans come to town and start their "Lets go MetsGo!" chants, the masses usually respond with a drunken E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES! chant, but when the Bostoners (yes Jenna, I said Bostoners) come to town.. the Eagles chant will not work so well. Having gone to school in Boston, I offered an invite out to all of my friends from Beantown to come to the nicest Ball Park in baseball to watch their team. Red Sox fans are some of the best fans in all of sport, although they don't have the intensity of an Eagles fan, they certainly have passion. But like most New Englanders usually are, they were affraid to leave the confines of their warfs and come explore a new city. No one took me up on the invite. They are probably too busy summering at the Cape. (I made the trek up to Boston last summer to see the Phils at Fenway)
I loved the city of Boston but I don't like the Red Sox (and I certainly hate the Patriots).

ever notice how every sports fan from boston knows who their teams are and that they are supposed to cheer for them, but thats about as far as the knowledge goes?

lwcjr is mistaken. First of all, it's grammatically incorrect. It's a matter of 'subject-verb agreement.' Second of all, I don't think it is factually correct. I don't think Eagles fans love their 'Birds' more than anyone else. Personally, I think Eagles fans are dumb. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAAAAAA.
