Artist Michael Pilato painted over a halo above Joe Paterno's head on a mural at State College over the weekend after details of Paterno's inaction with Jerry Sandusky became evident in the Freeh Report. The halo was originally added above JoePa's head after his death in January.

After removing the halo, Pilato added a blue ribbon on his jacket in support of child abuse victims.

The fact that Paterno ever even had a halo painted above him is a testament to the grandiosity of Penn State football and the man that made it all possible -- perhaps made too much possible.
