Following last week's events in Boston, the Flyers prepared a special pregame tribute to Beantown prior to their matchup with the Bruins on Tuesday night.
The video above was played on the jumbotron before Lauren Hart and Kate Smith performed their joint rendition of "God Bless America."
It's far from the only musical performance dedicated to Boston as of late — Neil Diamond's even writing a new song — but, from one city to another, it was likely the most appropriate.
The Flyers also donated the proceeds from their game-by-game 50/50 raffle to One Fund Boston, which is aimed at helping "the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston on April 15, 2013."
