Raul Ibanez, Rumored to Yankees, Sits Courtside for Sixers-Lakers

After Buster Olney tweeted earlier on Monday afternoon that the New York Yankees were "in position to add one of three hitters in the next week" including Raul Ibanez, the former Phillies left fielder was sitting courtside for the Sixers game as they took on Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers.

The arena music played "Werewolves of London" as Ibanez and his son were shown on the jumbotron early in the game. The Philadelphia faithful greeted him with the familiar "UUUUUUUUUUL" chant that seems to only rain down at the Wells Fargo Center for Nik Vucevic this time of year.

CSN caught up with Raul who couldn't comment on a potential deal with the Yankees but did say he's going to miss the Phillies organization and that he "hopes to meet them in October."

Also in attendance on Monday night were Eagles running back Shady McCoy and wide receiver DeSean Jackson, the latter of which was rocking an L.A. Lakers jacket.
