Mike Vick at Sixers-Celtics: ‘Philly, I Love You.'

Plenty of stars were out for the Sixers-Celtics game on Wednesday night in South Philadelphia. Flyers Owner and Comcast-Spectacor Chairman Ed Snider was sitting in his old court side seats rocking the red Sixers' giveaway t-shirt. A gaggle of current and former Eagles were in the building. Wells Fargo Center regular Todd Herremans was in his usual seat behind the basket with Brian Westbrook just a few seats away, and then Eagles' owner Jeffrey Lurie was up in a suite with Mike Vick and Jason Kelce among others. First round pick Fletcher Cox was also in the building.

Most of the Eagles players in attendance were shown on the big screen and had their names announced. Jason Kelce was not singled out and he tweeted about it. Offensive lineman get no respect.

I don't know, JKelce, you're just kind of hard to see under all of that beard.

Sixers.com's Matt Cord caught up with the man who got the loudest ovation of the evening, No. 7 Michael Vick, for an interview.

"I appreciate all the Sixers fans who are probably Eagles fans as well. You know our goal is to win a championship this year. Hopefully the Sixers will pull it out and we'll lead right after them," Vick said.

On the Eagles 2012 draft:

"Very satisfied with the draft. I think our coaching staff put together a great draft, went out and got exactly what we needed, and then some. Very excited about what we have coming up this season and what we'll be able to do in the conference."

On working out like crazy this season:

"I've been working out so hard, man. I want it more than anything. I want it more for myself, and this organization, and the players around me. I just think we deserve it. After what we went through last year, I felt like it was only right to come back and work as hard as we could to not let that happen again. I'm going to finish my career without looking back saying 'I wish I would have done more.'"

He ends with:

"Philly, I love you."

What a sweet talker.
