In Which Evan Turner Sums up the Sixers' 2012-13 Season

Certain professional athletes are often accused of not "getting it." But not Evan Turner.

He doesn't just get it. He's frigging profound about it.

So while head coach Doug Collins was somehow "shocked" at the amount of attention his Tuesday night press conference received, E.T. had taken two days to hear it, digest it and put it into perspective.

He told reporters on Thursday night:

“It was one of the few times we were on ESPN and it was because of that,” Turner said. “Any other time it is about Andrew [Bynum] or his hair.

He and his teammates then went out and promptly extended their longest consecutive losing streak under Collins' tenure to seven games in a 93-82 loss to the Chicago Bulls on TNT.

Ladies and gentlemen, your 2012-13 Philadelphia 76ers. Their exposure is off the charts right now.
