Video: Bench-clearing Brawl Ends with Broken Collarbone for Zach Greinke

Things got heated out on the West Coast last night when Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Zach Greinke plunked San Diego Padres hitter Carlos Quentin with a pitch. Quentin then charged the mound and the ensuing fracas ended with the Dodgers pitcher suffering a broken collarbone.

Dodgers slugger Matt Kemp was one of the most heated after his pitcher was attacked and even reportedly confronted Quinten while leaving Petco Park following the game and needed to be separated by police.

Having your big $147 million pitcher leave the game with a broken collarbone due to a brawl is pretty much exactly what you don't want to see happen in a baseball game. It's a terrible blow to the Dodgers. And really, it's an ugly blow for baseball.
