Shane Victorino -- who said he had no intention of fighting with San Francisco Giants pitcher Ramon Ramirez; he just wanted to know what was thinking throwing at his ribs!? (video below) -- will reportedly be suspended for three games by MLB for his involvement in the brawl that followed.
ESPN's Jayson Stark says Victorino will appeal. CSNPhilly confirmed the 3-game punishment.
Now, if Shane is getting a three game punishment, Eli Whiteside has to get what? At least six games? For his jumping-all-around-like-a-boxer instigation and attempted tackling of Placido Polanco?

UPDATE: Wow. According to the Phillies beat writers, neither Ramirez or Whiteside were suspended. Instead, they received fines, as did Placido Polanco.
I guess Victorino was the only one to touch an umpire? That has to be the only logical explanation.
