Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins has partnered with Major League Baseball and the White House to take part in the administration's new "1 is 2 many" campaign to raise awareness to the issues of dating and domestic violence.

Rollins appears alongside Eli Manning, Jeremy Lin, Evan Longoria, David Beckham, Joe Torre, Andy Katz, Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama in the video below.

As pictured above, Rollins was in Washington D.C. today alongside Biden and Rays' pitcher David Price for the debut.

The following from Phillies.com:

"When I was asked to be part of this, I said yes right away," Rollins
said. "No woman should have to fear abuse. Now that I'm a father
[Rollins' daughter, Camryn Drew, was born last month], I want to help
make sure my daughter grows up in a world free of abuse."

Of course, there was some room at the otherwise serious event for a few laughs:

Rollins, Price and Biden plainly
enjoyed each other's company and had time for some levity Thursday.
Rollins called Biden "Mr. Veep," and "My man, Mr. Vice President Biden."
Price, stepping in for teammate Evan Longoria, who is featured in the
PSA, also joked about sharing the stage with Rollins, saying: "I may not
always stand with the Phillies and Jimmy Rollins, especially since they
beat us in the 2008 World Series, but I'm happy to stand together for
this cause."

Biden also made mention of the fact that, despite being a Phillies fan, he's actually grown a little tired of looking at Rollins. Specifically, every night he leans to over to kiss wife good night, he's faced with a Rollins bobblehead doll apparently beside the bed.

Of course, this isn't the first time the Vice President has had a Phillie's likeness in his bedroom.
