Disney On Ice Booted by Thad & the Andres
Is this that turnaround point the Sixers have been shooting for? Maybe that's a tad premature, but they are making a little noise lately and the offense has been clicking much better than it was. After beating the Clips in LA, they dropped a clunker to the Mavs, but then damn near came way back to take down the Spurs. Last night, they faced the Rockets in their first game back from the Disney On Ice trip, and the homecoming served 'em well.
Thad Young and Andre Iguodala led the way, looking great in tandem. Wait til you see the ThadYo dunk in the highlights, after the jump. Try not to choke on the obligatory cheesesteak reference that kicks it off though.
Available in "high quality" too.
Iguodala dropped 28 points (no Sixer has broken 30 this season), and Willie Green added 14. Marreese Speights and Lou Williams each came off the bench to put up 15. Overall, the Sixers shot 56.2% from the floor (to the Rockets' 42.5%). Big ups to Andre Miller for passing Larry Bird for 32nd on the all-time assists list. He had 8 dimes last night.
Houston had a balanced attack, with no starter scoring more than 18 or less than 10. The stat that jumps off the page for the Rockets was Luis Scola's 17 total boards though.
Up next, the Sixers head out to Milwaukee for an 8PM start tonight.

With the Eagles in the Playoffs, the Flyeres in 1st, and the Phillies comming off a title this team better gets it's act together, or they will become invisible in this city.

They still don't deserve high-def treatment over my Flyers.
Basketballs are not effected by pixellation as much as a hockey puck.
Damnit.
