Dejected Giants Fan Takes Bat to Cars
Damn it, Eli Manning! You see what you force Giants fans to do? What can they resort to other than destroying a Porsche, taking a bat to an SUV, and breaking their leg?
In the below video posted to YouTube, the description reads, "Giant fan upset over the G-mens loss to Philly decides to smash his car to pieces...and his leg." I highly, highly doubt that these fans are destroying their own car. Perhaps they thought it was Elisha's whip.

must be something in the water up in north jersey.

Posted by: themajor | Monday, January 12, 2009 at 08:17 PM
God, can we PLEASE split New Jersey in half? I'm so embarrassed to technically come from the same state, albeit I'm from the southern part, than this N NJ garbage.

Posted by: SJ Mike | Monday, January 12, 2009 at 08:25 PM
I have not even looked at the comments over at YouTube, but I will bet someone a dollar there's at least one "LOL AT LEAST WE DON'T BOO SANTA! FU PHILLY!" douchebag yukking it up over there. Stay classy, Giants fans.

@SJ Mike
Shouldn't be too hard. Someone in Youtube comments points out to just look for a guy named Justin (did you hear "Justin, are you ok?) Who just got a crap load of stitches in his right leg. I say go for it.
Posted by: Jason | Monday, January 12, 2009 at 10:12 PM
Jason,
I did pass it along to Gonzo over at the Inquirer. He emailed me back thrilled to see the video, so maybe it'll make it into his column.
I'm sure somebody will pass this along to the Police or the Giants because I'd imagine the owners of these cars filed some sort of report.
Posted by: SJ Mike | Monday, January 12, 2009 at 10:18 PM
at least someone in a giant jersey hit something. how many dickhead columnists from nj/ny would feast over this story if it were in philadelphia? also, that dude got his ass kicked by a parked car. cue the mastercard commerical.

"Giant Failure" Is that the name of this video or the name of the people on this video.
Posted by: HLH | Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 12:13 AM
Ah I love Gonzo, he's a sportswrite that embraces this new fangled internet thingy. I hope he sends it on to someone at ESPN for help in identifying the culpirts. Then I hope he prints there email where they don't care and want Philly fans acting badly

The girl said that Justin had to get his Uncle out of Security, sounds like Justin's Uncle got booted from the game, Security might have his ID already.

You stay classy New York!
Posted by: Mark D | Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 10:39 AM
You people are morons. That Porsche was burnt to a crisp because it parked over hot coals. Then when the police came, the owner flipped the keys at the other people whose cars were also on fire and said, "You deal with it." I find it funny you refer to North Jersey as "trash." Philly invented trash. And if you hate Jersey, stop crossing the borders like illegals to pollute our beaches. 3 Superbowls.....0 Superbowls. Deal, adjust, overcome.
Posted by: Jerry | Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 10:41 AM
good point jerry. your body of your overall opinion is supported by--philly invented trash. even a middle school boy wouldnt say something that mindless. nice work though. also, if we're being honest, illegal dumping by companies based in New York technically polluted your beaches, but who cares about facts anyway? again--nice work. To finish, nobody really cares if the Giants have 3 superbowls. If your coward fathers raised you better, you would treat the rings with more dignity. what else ya got?
Posted by: will.H | Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 11:27 AM
Good point Mark D. The number of Super Bowl wins is directly correlated with the level of trash.
By the way, you neglected to let us know where you earned your Ph.D.
Posted by: James in Philadelphia | Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 11:43 AM
Coward fathers? I would rather discuss this in person. Your Philly breathren want to "nuke Jersey." My point was if you hate Jersey, then don't visit. You pollute simply by existing you white trash loser.
Posted by: Jerry | Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 11:46 AM
Funny that Eagles' fans are talking about another team's fans having no class. Don't worry birds' fans you will ever be the bridesmaid and never the bride.
Posted by: Finn | Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 12:02 PM
Finn: No, it's funny that you are here pointing it out when the entire point of this article is how NY/NJ fans are always saying how classless Philly fans are, yet prove time and time again that they are no better.
We're tired of hearing about how our fanbase is the worst when every fanbase has it's fair share of assholes. And fanbases that are as dedicated as Philly's and NY's (unlike some *cough* newer fanbases who just realized they had teams) have more fans, and hence, more assholes.
Posted by: doubleh | Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 12:18 PM
Oh, and another thing: This year we were the bride and the Mets were the bridesmaid. So, suck on that, haters!
Posted by: doubleh | Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 12:19 PM
Typical disgusting Giants fans.
Posted by: Vasten | Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 01:06 PM
What do you expect? Their typical low-class Sopranos wannabe North Jersey Italians.

Posted by: will.H | Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 03:27 PM
North jersey is trash? you ever go down south jersey to Camden?
& not all people from Jersey are Giants fans, you got the jets and philly fans too, you know. & don't tell me there is no Philly fans in North Jersey...believe me there is quite a few.
Posted by: DJ | Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 04:28 PM
Lets put it this way, I went to high school with Giants fans and it wasn't any fun. I then went to college with Eagles fans and that was less fun.
Let's hope the Cards can get in the Superbowl.
Nothing better than to see the Eagles, Giants and Skins out.
Posted by: Dan | Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 05:08 PM
obviously, you guys don't know philly fans that well. we are probably the only fans that don't choose to ban wagon and jump to the winning team. i hope who ever that car belonged to comes back and seriously kicks your ass!!!! we are life long fans and you guys are just jealous that we can stick with our team whether they win or lose. see you next year!! we have this superbowl under control.. see you at the parade in philly!!!! besides..we could all hope that one day there is a massive earthquake under the meadowlands and you assholes float into the north atlantic and drown..eat shit! at least philly has a stadium store and you pieces of shit don't!!!! so f**** off!!!!
