Flutie Returns! Boston College Headed to ACC Championship Game

Doug Flutie nephew BC Humor me for an off topic post here.

While fans of the Maryland Terps called it a 9-yard touchdown pass, the Associated Press called it "Another Flutie Miracle." It was on a play when Boston College lined up for a short field goal well within Steve "Sid Vicious" Aponavicius' range that the fourth-descendant of Flutie* took the snap and, instead of putting the ball down for a kick, faked a pitch over his head before rolling to his right and tossing an all important touchdown pass. The score helped propel BC over Maryland and set them on a second date with Virginia Tech in the ACC Championship game on Saturday. [video of the trick play below]

As always, for all your BC sporting needs check out the fine blog at Eagle in Atlanta.

No offense to Pam Ward, but I hate when women do play-by-play for football. Just isn't the same.

That being said, I'd take her over Joe Buck any day.

Pam Ward is no woman!!

The question is, will anybody actually show up for the ACC Championship Game? No one did last year.

@ ryan
Oh, I'll be there. Free tickets for students + airtran = best 300 bucks i ever spent

@ ryan

I know one person who will definitely be there: the stylist who does Jagodzinski's eyeliner and bleaches his teeth. What a faggot.
