Where Will McNabb Play Next Season?
We've all speculated about the reality that Donovan McNabb could be playing for another team in 2009. You know it's for real when Vegas starts making lines about it.
Which team's roster will Donovan McNabb be on for week 1 of the 2009 NFL season?
Philadelphia Eagles 7/4

Minnesota Vikings 5/2

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 5/1

McNabb still has plenty of gas left in the tank, but I'm afraid if we keep losing we'll be forced into giving Kolb a shot.
This is why wasting a 2nd rounder on a QB was stupid...instead of just having a good veteran backup, now we're going to be forced into trading McNabb, and mark my words he will win somewhere else.

I'm not so sure he'll win somewhere else. Success, sure, but I'm not positive he'll get a ring. Sometimes I really think he lacks the mindset/mentality of a champion.

@ Mark
I think if he goes to a team like Chicago, or Minnesota, he will absolutely have a shot a ta ring because a top QB is the one thing those teams are missing (and I still think McNabb has the talent to be a top QB.)
In my opinion the Eagles organization wasted the best years of McNabb's career because of their stubborn refusal to bring in a top WR. The one year they did McNabb had an MVP caliber season. That's not a coincidence. Why Andy Reid insists on throwing the ball 50-60 times a game with no elite WR is something I will never understand. Imagine if during those years with Small, Johnson, Stinkston, and Trash if he had good receivers...I truly believe this team would have won 2 Super Bowls with Donovan at the helm.
Happy Thanksgiving either way, and let's try to not get blown out of National TV tonight!

To be honest his stats have probably been hurt, looking at this progression right now, he just was told to go out there and throw the ball up 14 at the 40 in the 4th quarter. Its not his fault they dont win as much as they should, this is clearly a case of bad coaching decissions.
There isn't a single reason we should be passing the ball right now, especially on first down with an opponent that can only throw the ball.

and most of the birds' offense was by the ground and they did incredible when it was mixed appropriately with the pass.
If Andy Reid stays on one more season with the Eagles, I worry for his life.
Why?
His "Diamond in the rough" picks are God awful. Kolb is a back up, we need a new for real starter for McNabb if D-money goes down. plus offseason Eagles need: O-linemen, Wideouts(as Usual), a powerback (like Lendale White for the Titans), a possible QB, pick up some more WR to go with DeSean Jackson, new safety's, a power MLB like Trotter once was, a new owner thats not Jeffrey Laurie, and a less fat Andy Reid in the bird's nest.
but still...
God bless us, Everyone!

@ David...who do Chicago and Minnesota have at WR? The argument here for his imperfections have been the lack of receivers. Our receivers > Minny and Chicago combined.

Dude if we don't sneak into the wildcard slot-which is looking to be a reality, seeing as our chances are VERY slim with Chicago winning and TB/Dallas still alive-either McNabb will get traded or Reid will get fired.
I hope it's Reid getting fired. McNabb is a GOOD QB, he and the team are just guided the wrong way! If we let McNabb go, we're screwed. Period. Kolb is just not good enough. If somebody NEW gets on McNabb's side, and if we can get some better recievers (D.Jackson was a help, but as much as I HATE to admit it, we are really feeling the burn of losing T.O.). we could go far. If McNabb leaves, we're screwed. Period.
I say if McNabb got traded, Detroit would pick him up. There were rumors of them trying to pry him away last season. Heck, they need ANYBODY right now, seeing as they are very close to hitting 0-16. Dont be surprised if we see McNabb in a blue and white jersey next season.
