Fuck L.J. Smith, that good for nothing pussy.

(Whew! Much better!)

I'm really happy to have been at 2 wins this year (St. Louis, Seattle). Last year, they lost 2 of 3 I went to.

Couldn't be more disappointed at being 0-3 in the division.

On the left we have the most pretentious, know it all radio host in Philadelphia. On the right we have the most pretentious, know it all coach in Philadelphia.

Watching the 49ers lose on monday night running the ball twice at the goaline at the end of the game made me feel a little better

http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/fire-andy-reid.html

It would be nice to be able to run the ball form time to time. Perhaps occasionally calling running plays to get the offensive line into rhythm of run blocking might help? I mean, the fact that they didn't surrender a sack (to my knowledge) against a very good Giants pass rush means the line has to have some talent right? Also, might not hurt to throw in Buckhalter as a change of pace on nights when Westbrook is having trouble.

And as much fun as it is to have a "fast" defense that's apparently built to pound shitty teams, it might be nice to be able to stop the run against a team with a good o-line.

Ugghh, which one would I kill first? Oh, wait the douche with the open shirt. No one wants to see your hairy, sagging mantits, ya loser. And nice catchphrases/word choices. When are you going to replace 'bling' with something more topical, like 'ragamuffin' or 'Don't go there'?

Congrats on not being banned from the Linc, 700 Level!

I can see us going 10-6 and missing the play-offs in this man-beast of a division. Also the birds probably are only going to do no better than 2-4 in the division. We'll most likely loose again to the giants but maybe cap of the season with a road win in DC and home against the cowgirls.

therapy would be losing to the Bengals this Sunday. Then lets see Reid explain that one. We need to hit rock bottom for even the slighest chance for change to occur. Losing to the Bengals is the first step.

Honestly if they go 10-6 or 9-7 and just miss the playoffs it's just going to be the same shit, I'd rather miss the playoffs going 7-9 or 6-10 than 10-6 or 9-7.

And with a losing record at least one of the 1st rounders will be high. The Panthers pick is going to be worth shit! Maddening this team and regime...and I actually love the team!

That was an extremely frustrating loss. How is it that after 10 years, Reid and McNabb still don't know how to manage the clock at the end of a game? And the first challenge was awful. Might as well have given away a timeout. I knew that wasn't a fumble by hitting the 15 second back button on my remote, and if we don't have a replay operator who can tell Reid not to challenge that, then the Eagles should create a position and hire me...fucking A.

When did Football Season Start?

Fire Andy.

That is all.

I would like a new GM. One who can create a solid team from top-to-bottom. A GM with a record of winning, like Pat Gillick. A GM who is always trying to make his team better and not cut corners like the red-haired-fat-man. This fat man is no Bill Parcells. Is Bill Bellichek the GM of the Pats? I don't think so. Did Bill Bellichek orchestrate the best low-ball offer (4th rounder) for the best WR of this generation? I don't think so. So, let's keep the Fat F--k at coach, give him an ego check, and tell him his homework for next season is to learn how to finish games.

grrrr son of a bitch. we aren't this bad why are playing like sh1t. i'm so tired of it. this on top of the flyers less than stellar start has left me feeling a little empty. thank god for the phillies other wise i would be miserable. although i don't know how much longer the phillies can make the pain of the flyers and eagles seem bearable.

Not clutch, crap play calling in crucial situations, FAILING TO TACKLE BECAUSE THEY TRY AND GO HIGH AND WITH THEIR HANDS, INCREDIBLY inconsistent, can't run & won't run, red zone black hole, remind of me tecmo bowl with their "run backwards until the receiver's 30 yards downfield then heave it" crap, AAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The defense could be 1000x better if they occasionally tried to go for the strip. Every game you see multiple gang tackles, and no one ever goes for the ball.

Also, going into the season without a real FB has clearly cost us 3 games so far. Whoever's decision that was needs to lose their job.

The most glaring mistake was last years reasoning of not needing a punt returner, followed by this years reasoning of not needing a fullback. The O-line did a good job of protecting 5, but they have to be able to get a yard on a running play. For as many picks we use on the O-line and D-line I don't see the results. I still haven't seen a solid pass rush, it seems like they just can't get pressure on opposing QB's. Reid has been good in his tenure here, but it looks like the players have given up on him, and once the coach loses the locker room it is time to go. They just look stale. I would rather lose with a young growing group than a mediocre older group. Clemons and Booker are both proving worthless so far.

If the Phils didn't win, I could do this all day, but a Championship has a way of mellowing you out.

That being said, I think Andy Reid's style of offense needs to go. We need to go to a more balanced offense with the run setting up play-action passing. The run is established early on, the game is shortened, and when points are needed, you make like Sexy Rexy and say "Fuck it, I'm going deep."

Also, no more Brian Dawkins on an island against receivers. I love Dawk, but fuck, he's not the player he used to be and using him like that is like using Pat Burrell as a late inning defensive replacement or pinch runner for Jimmy Rollins.

Okay, so maybe the title hasn't mellowed me out that much...

How many more days unitl pitchers and catchers?

Enrico, kudos for finding a picture in which my namesake is not the human being I have the most contempt for. Not an easy task.

@ Spitz:

I think it's 91 days.

This team needs something they've needed for about...oh...since fucking Deuce Staley left. A goddamn short yardage back. Its absurd that after all these years of glaring issues running for first downs in short yardage situations, that someone would pick up on this. The total lack of an actual FB is just making this problem cartoonish.

You can't win in the NFL without a short yardage running game. Not anymore. Guys, this can't be some kind of oversight. Its an actual decision, made by the entirety of the organization for the past 5-6 years.

F*ck - Marry - Kill:
Eskin?
Reid?
McNabb?

Reid should finish out the year. He's just not an in-game coach.
Then let's bring Spags in.

Alright, Gaze...I'll bite...

Fuck Eskin, because at least he'd have to live with knowing he got fucked by a dude who thinks he's a dope.

Marry McNabb because he's funny and I could always divorce him and be filthy rich.

Kill Reid because it's the only chance we got of Lurie bringing in a new coach.

son of a cock bitch motherfuck dick ass pussy!

I feel so much better, thanks guys.

Getting a real GM would be nice. Make fat boy concentrate on coaching, maybe he'd finally learn how long the game is or how many quaters there are. Getting some run stoppers including LB's that are capable. Getting a real change of pace back and a real FB or just another skill player on offense. A real GM could do all this in the draft. Beyond McNabb, Westbrook, Jackson and maybe Andrews, who have they drafted?? Even Andy's hero Mike Holmgrem couldn't really do both.

running the ball, on both sides, is KILLING us. How is it that #36 only got 13 carries against the Giants? He's a career Giant Killer. On top of that, he only had 11 carries in the game until those last two BS runs which were idiotic. And WTF is up with their clock management? I mean really, do they not even practice this? Andy GIVES away two timeouts at the end of the game when he should know we can't do shit under 2 minutes. And then McNabb GASPING for air when we should be running that 3rd down play before the 2 minutes warning. Get to the line you fat ass and run a play. If we don't pick it up, we have a few minutes to regroup and gameplan for a crucial 4th down play. Flashbacks to the superbowl for anyone else out there?? I mean shit, it was only a 7 yard run, it's not like he broke one for 40 yards!! The run by 36 on 3rd down, ok...I get it I guess. But then to run again (flashbacks of the Bears goal line stand) on 4th down is just straight retarded. We run towards the side where Shawn Andrews WOULD BE if he were playing...but he wasn't, was he? (PS - are we 2/2 on TD fade passes to Baskett this year? WHY do we not try that more often????????????)

welcome the anger, it makes every firstdown, touchdown and win even better. these eagles are an enigma, they will disappoint or suprise you when you least expect it. lets win out.

andy reid should be fired...but more than that the team needs to be rebuilt...we tried starting to rebuild ten years ago with a quarterback I think it's time again...also BWest has skill but only here and there does he produce any more...this is NFL football and not an experiment in how much can we get out of a fragile back...go out and get a big indestructable back that can go off tackle drop a shoulder and in the process knock a tackle or LB on their asses...he doesn't have to be talented just capable of four yards and a puff of smoke every time without injury..enough frustrating borderline players start again with big consistent players not just in the backfield but everywhere...our o-line is aging or mental...our d-line is undersized...and our kicker can't be relied on from over 40 yards..

SIGN NAJEH DAVENPORT AND CUT BOOKER YOU FAT FUCK.

OH YEA, STOP CALLING RUNNING PLAYS MULTIPLE TIMES IN A ROW IN CLUTCH SITUATIONS WHEN YOU PASSED 70% OF THE GAME.

"Losing to the Bengals is the first step" Joey said. "We need to hit rock bottom."

If we make the playoffs this year, we're assured another year of *clears throat* "I need to put my players...", "one piece *clears throat* away", "We need to *clears throat* address that", and "We will *clears throat* turn this around."

C'mon Banner/Lurie. Grow some.
