I came up from D.C. on Monday... Should have done the same on Wednesday. I love this team. And it's great to see Wheels so damn happy. THANK YOU PHILLIES!!!
Joe Buck has made me appreciate Wheels in a new light.
True statement. Buck made me long for the days of someone telling me a batter liked the ball "middle in" or talking about a "no doubles defense".
I turned on the radio and put the TV on mute last night to listen to our announcers (this was the first part of the series I didn't attend or watch at a bar) and I gotta tell you that it was far better experience with our announcers calling the game.
You said it, jms. After this series, Joe Fuck ought to retire from baseball. It makes me appreciate what we really have here, toupee and "middle-in" and "Ray-ass" and all the rest.
I listened to every play of the Series on 1210 while watching w/ the TV on mute. I saw the video of Harry and Wheels last night on Comcast and now I just want to watch it over and over. LOVE IT! I also want to say that I love this blog and will see you all at the parade!!
I love the reaction by Wheels, but I also love how he gets it out, collects himself enough to record the final out in his scorecard, and then goes back to celebrating!
Just when I thought I was gonna cry again! I guess I might as well get used to it because i'm pretty sure i'll be crying sometime tomorrow around noon too!
Wheels reaction is great. thats exactly how i was up here in Mets country.
LOVE IT!

My son ran into Wheels yesterday in Blue Bell during lunch break. Subway sandwiches and a handshake. A good sign!
Great coverage!

Wheels is hilarious! I'm sure I looked just as foolish, but no one caught me on video!

Tears. As a displaced Philadelphian, I close my eyes and play the clip and i feel like i'm back at my old home as a kid in Montgomery County...MAGIC!
