Charlie Manuel Remembers June

All of Philadelphia was saddened by the news last week of the passing of Charlie Manuel's mother, June. But as life goes, you try to remember the good things.

She watched all the games. She questioned some of the moves, especially the ones that didn't work.

"I never listened to her anyway," he said. "I'd just say, 'Yeah, Ma, whatever.' Sometimes I might get a little upset. I'd say, 'One of these days I'm going to bring you up here and let you tell them.' "
Glad to see she was a regular old Philly sports fan.

It would have been nice if the Dodger faithful could have taken time off from booing to let up on Cholly since he just lost his Mother 2 days ago. It's not like it hasn't been all over the news. I understand we're the enemy, but have some heart.
