Ladies: I Pee Philadelphia
I've designed a lot of t-shirts in my day. I once walked up and down the boardwalk in Ocean City with a friend trying to sell a shirt that said "Popular." Shore dwellers couldn't see the irony. Jerks.
But I'm not sure I've seen a shirt this hilarious (that's not on that girl in the Snorg Tees ads who makes the strange faces - man those crack me up...) in a very long time.
So I was spelunking through the Phillies website and I saw a link for their shop. With this shirt as the promo. I P Philadelphia. I PEE Philadelphia. Yes, I know it's supposed to be a heart and they cleverly replaced it with the Phils logo. But this isn't like a shirt that says "Puck the Devils" and rips on the other team. This is your own shirt. That the Phillies, through MLB Shop, are selling. Thank goodness the shirt is just for ladies. I've been to the ballpark. I don't want to know what any of those dudes are P'ing.
This is a real shirt. You can't make this piss shit up. The Freely family is contacting trademark attorneys, immediately.
UPDATE: Turns out...the guys at We Should Be GMs had this WEEKS ago. In my defense, I didn't see it before today and they didn't make any toilet-humor references. This is the internet guys...that's a prerequisite, no?
