Myers: "We'll See" Against the Mets

Myers stint with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs is over and Myers is set to rejoin the Fightin' Phils this week to face the Mets.

"I can't think of a better team for me to come back against," said Myers, expected to start Wednesday night at Shea Stadium. "I don't like them. They're our rival. We're not supposed to like each other. Nothing against any of their guys. I just like beating them, and they like beating us."

A solid attitude from the often maligned pitcher. So has he learned his lesson? That certainly remains to be seen. As a Phils fan, I really want to believe he will turn his season around. But do I believe he will turn into "half of a formidable 1-2 punch with ace lefty Cole Hamels? I'm not holding my breath.

Its good to hear him say he doesnt like the mets, but he really needs to shut his mouth from now on and learn how to pitch.
