Donovan McNabb and Jeremiah Trotter Named in Handicapped Parking Dispute
TMZ (yes, TMZ), reporting on McNabb and Trotter jacking parking spots, brings back memories of tales of Allen Iverson's maroon Bentley being left in long term parking at Philadelphia International Airport for weeks in a handicapped space. Can't professional athletes hire drivers or something so they don't have to park their own cars?
*Pretty sure this is old but couldn't find it in the archives.

This wench goes to different places in Glassboro, NJ and takes pictures of cars parked in handicapped spots to be ticketed. Shouldn't she be home taking care of her severly disabled child?

If you look back at the articles, you'll see that McNabb was not in the car. One of his security guys was driving it that day. McNabb had to pay the fine because he was the owner of the vehicle.

This lawsuit is complete nonsense. They can allege no specific damages. Are they in fact disabled or is just her daughter disabled? I know this isn't a legal blog, but I'm pretty sure she hasn't established standing.
If the Landmark gets the right judge this thing will be dismissed immediately.

Fun fact the woman who is filing that lawsuit is banned from Rowan because she hit a kid with her car
I know several people who have had her take pictures of their license plate while they idled their car outside the student center (which is about a quarter mile away from Landmark). She's been on Penn & Teller's Bullshit portrayed as some heroic activist but really she is just crazy

A car wash owner called Eskin on 7/7/08 and related his story with this woman. He was the 5th straight person that the woman had taken to court that day (I think sometime in June he said). She lost all 5. Apparently she just goes around taking pictures and making these BS claims. For the car wash guy- some patron had dragged a trash can into a handicapped spot, but she never asked a worker to move it- just took a picture of it and then took the guy to court. She admitted she wasn't even there to get her car washed.
