McNabb, Westbrook, Dawkins, & Lurie in Boston for NBA Finals Game 2
Boston looked more like Hollywood last night as the celebs came out in full force to watch the Celtics beat up on the Los Angeles Lakers in game 2 of the NBA Finals. The Eagles three biggest stars -- Donovan McNabb, Brian Westbrook, and Brian Dawkins -- were flown up to Beantown by Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie to enjoy the game.
I'm not sure this situation needs to be analyzed but I think it clearly demonstrates the solid relationship the Eagles owner has with the three men who've made the biggest impact on his business over the past few seasons. Quick video clip below.
That Leonardo DiCaprio really has some bad luck with the ladies, eh? That's current crush Bar Refaeli.
DOUG FLUTIE SIGHTING!

Cataldi was having a fit on his show this morning about how Lurie needs to demonstrate a little more loyalty to his own team's home town. Personally speaking I could care less who Lurie roots for in his spare time, although like Chad I too hate the Celtics.

Who says Lurie was rooting for the Celtics? It's the NBA Finals, it's a hot ticket. That's the kind of game you can go to simply as a fan of the sport.

Well, I will have a problem if I see Lurie rooting for his beloved Sox against the Phils when they come to town. Do that cr*p in private. It's no secret that Lurie and Banner abhor when the Phillies take any of their press away even though half of the time at CBP you hear stupid Eagles chants.

Kulp: Lurie is a die-hard Boston sports fan. He roots for the Sox and tried to buy the Pats and failed before he bought the Eagles.

Yeah, I suppose a little research on my part would have been helpful. I still don't have a problem. It's the NBA Finals. It's not a game against Philly or a just another random regular season encounter.

Fixed. I felt I had to do that or else turn in my English degree.
/I probably should do that anyway.
