Cole Hamels Sends AL Pitchers to the DL
More fuel for the Hank Steinbrenner fire today, as after Monday's Red Sox-Phillies game, the Sox put Bartolo Colon on the DL with a stiff back. We're not sure what caused the injury, but it might have been a combination of being severely overweight for a pro athlete and jerking his head back to watch balls fly out in the first inning, or it could be what Cole Hamels did to him at the plate:

Bartolo could have done real damage to the Phillies, that being on dollar dog night

Anyone think Colon is actually fatter than Alfonseca? I guarantee El Pulpo is a better athlete...

So, now the Yankee's Wang and Boston's Colon are both on the DL.

Maybe instead of NL pitchers "joining the 21st century," AL pitchers should stop being such pussies?
Just a thought.
