No Wonder Chase Utley is So Good
In this clip that aired last night on Comcast before the Phils took on the Astros, Chase Utley gives us a tremendous glimpse in to the amount of preparation he puts in before every game. The video technology they use allows Utley to select from a huge catalog of at bats he's had against every pitcher on the opposing team. Not only can Utley watch the at bats but he can also see each pitch plotted against a strike zone.
"If you're not watching everything you can, you're not preparing yourself the best you can."

This franchise is lucky to have two guys like Utley and Rollins as young leaders in the clubhouse. The way that they conduct themselves on and off the field, accompanied by their die-hard approach to being as successful as possible are sometimes so rare. A team is blessed to have one guy like this, and we have two, and hopefully they will stay here until they call it quits and hang up the cleats.

And somewhere, Brett Myers is watching reruns of Huckleberry Hound over and over.
