Mike Schmidt, Oenophile, Toasts Pat Burrell

Michael Jack is in town, doing the media circuit to promote his new 548 Zinfandel. Comcast SportsNet caught up with him at a tasting, and Mike brought the love for Pat Burrell, he of the Arkansas Walkoff Burrells.

We raised a few glasses to Pat the Machine Bat ourselves last night.

I think this is it for Pat Burrell with the Phillies. No matter how good of a season he has, they will save money by putting Jayson Werth in left next season.

Many may disagree with me, but I think this is a mistake, Burrell is the only right handed protection Howard and Utley have and the Phillies need him in the lineup.
