Marvin Harrison Accused of Shooting in North Philly
Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison may have been involved in a shooting at a bar/restaurant he owns in North Philly called "Playmakers." 610 WIP's Anthony Gargano says the man who may have been shot spent 10 years on a homicide charge. It's unclear if Harrison was the shooter but the gun allegedly involved was owned by Harrison. [FanHouse] UPDATE: ESPN has more detail.

The guy did 10 years on a murder charge? Maybe Marvin was exacting some street justice. Not enough info. though to make any judgment.

I think it's good for his image. It gives him some street cred. Maybe he's trying to get the attention of the Cowboys. A gun charge is a requirement to play for those scumbags.

I got this text message and was shocked. I considered Harrison to be one of the elite stand up guys in the league. Evidence keeps stacking up, but I hope this isn't true. He's a great player, and I think he has a good number of years left in this league despite his time on the injured list last year.

harrison has 25 registered guns "to protect himself"? guns that fire 50 cal rounds? wow. shocking story but harrison sounds like a sketchier character than i ever envisioned.
