Buzz Bissinger is just one more man who is ignorant to the fact of how the news media is developing. Each time everyone attacks bloggers of any sort, they are criticizing their opinions and their right to voice it. The only reason this wasn't brought up in the past is because no one had the outlet to release their opinions except for the local bar or somewhere of the like. I see nothing wrong with people using the web to voice their opinions or report news stories that the major media corporations refuse to air due to the fear of losing multi-billionaire pro sports TV licensing contracts.

The fact of the matter is that blogs will not be going anywhere, and some writers as we have seen are being proactive and forming them themselves. People like Buzz Bissinger are not only trying to hinder the expression of various sports fans across the country, but they are also making themselves look bad because they cannot deal with the fact that they might have a little bit of competition.
