Thoresen Leaves Hospital Intact

After taking a slapshot to the jewels, it was feared Flyers winger Patrick Thoresen had a ruptured testicle and might need to have it removed. Fortunately for Thoresen, and pretty much all men everywhere, he's going to be OK, and the testiclectomy was not required. Thoresen has been released from the hospital, and could even be ready to return to the lineup tomorrow.

If Thoresen seems a little reluctant to go down to block a shot, let's all cut him a little slack. (h/t: commenter houroc)

He's a lucky guy. We should all make the refs take one there and see if they want play called dead right away or if there should be a "judgement call".

Oh, BTW, that scary surgery is an orchiectomy. (Also less called a 'testectomy').

Hope hes ready for game 2.

I don't think I've never been happier about another man's balls.

Thoresen should get special dispensation from the league to wear a vibranium jock.

"never" = "ever"

"Chamomiles Davis" = "mistyping nitwit"
