Sixers Try For Stranglehold Over Pistons
The Sixers have a chance tonight to push the Pistons to the brink of elimination. Perhaps the most shocking thing about the Sixers current series lead over Detroit is that they've done it without amazing performances from Andre Iguodala. If A.I. can light it up for a game and the Sixers can continue their stellar defense, Detroit could be in trouble.
But the Sixers aren't the kind of team that relies on one guy, instead they play the epitome of a team game. As Today's Inquirer points out, Chauncey Billups has been kept in check and not just by Andre Miller but rather by the entire Sixers defense. If there's one guy who deserves a whole lot of credit for the Sixers surprising lead over the Pistons, it has to be Mo Cheeks.
Game four tonight tips off at 7:00 at the Wachovia Center. Get your white on.

DANCE TEAM! HURRY IT'S NOT TOO LATE!

Seriously! It distracts the pistons and forces turnovers!

Willie Green misses a lot of easy assist opportunities, and seems to be the only guy on the team who does so

Now they're losing. You couldn't link to a pic??

Need the dance pic now--Pistons starting to go on a run beginning of 2nd half--need them to go back to sleep.

The FT shooting tonight is killing the Sixers...

Will we break the curse of all Philadelphia teams winning or losing on any given day today? Can the Sixers still win even though the Phillies already lost?

seriously where is the dance team pic? hurry before the 4th quarter starts.

Props to the Pistons for turning up the intensity, but Iguodala is killing this team. Iggy, give it up. Let the team play, this is about you, pal. You blow so far in the post season.

this series would be over if weren't for enrico and his refusal to put up dance team photos.
Posted by: will | Sunday, April 27, 2008 at 09:38 PM
Can we all agree that the lack of Dance Team photo has some effect on the outcome of these games?
Posted by: Adam | Sunday, April 27, 2008 at 09:48 PM
Re Dance Team photos, we can all agree.
Re Iguodala... if we aren't putting the ball in his hands, who else is there? Miller is just not a one on one scoring threat, Green isn't good enough, and Williams and Thad are too young.
