Sixers Stun Everyone But Selves, Win Game One In Detroit
Okay, maybe they even stunned themselves a bit too.
Even the most nonchalant Sixers fans had to absolutely love watching Mo Cheeks high five the entire Sixers bench after last night's win over Detroit. The Sixers stunned the Pistons and pretty much all NBA fans everywhere by taking game one in Motor City, 90-86.

The Sixers' first round performance earned them a spot on the ESPN splash page.

Here's Reggie Evans talking about the victory. Man just wants to hoop. As the Redlasso clipper noted, you may need closed captioning on this one. Regardless, props to Evans for stepping up big time in the series opener.

And the Phils avoided a sweep by the Mutts as well. Good night of sports in Philly.

As a Hawkeye myself, it's great to see Iowa alum Reggie Evans contributing to this team.

Just a classic post-game interview. The "Detroit is a marvelous team" and "you just gotta hoop" put it over the top. A+ all around for Reggie E.

HUGE win, but I'm still nervous. Detroit (Rasheed especially) could decide to turn their frustration over this loss in to 4 straight wins. Sixers definitely need to clean up in Philly later this week.

No suprise here, the sixers didn't even play all that well and they still pulled out a win in Detroit. Dalembert was in foul trouble all game and igoudala couldn't buy a shot. This is not the same pistons team from the past. check that, it is the same team but they are much much older. I think the series will go at least 6

I think that for whatever reason, Detroit tends to get cocky about playoff games even though they have no right to do so. They underestimated the Sixers last night, but probably won't from here on out. Regardless, it'll be an interesting series.

This Pistons team is not the same team that won the title and there are two words that explain why...
Flip Saunders.

Place me on the "not-stunned" list. After 82 games, veteran teams are going to have a tough time keeping up with the fast-paced Sixers.

SHOCK THE WORLD
I believe in Thaddeus Young & Andre Miller!

Just saw a stat that says Sixers are 10-0 all time in first-round playoff series when taking game 1 of the series. Interesting.
