Penn Charter's Matt Ryan Drafted Third Overall By Atlanta Falcons
Being a local boy who also attended my alma mater of Boston College, Matt Ryan is a guy I will be rooting for to have a great NFL career. The Atlanta Falcons selected Ryan third overall and will have a stand up, classy guy to lead their team in the wake of the Michael Vick fiasco.
Opinions vary on what kind of NFL QB Ryan will make. ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. believed teams would be foolish to let Ryan slip out of the top 8 while MDS over at FanHouse isn't as sold on the Exton, PA native as a stud NFL player.
Congrats to Matty Ice and best of luck in Atlanta, except of course when you're playing the Iggles.

Very happy for him, he seems like a good kid. I just hope the Falcons can lay the foundation for him to be successful, because that franchise is a mess right now.
