Mo Cheeks: Good Dude AND Good Coach

As we all read earlier today, it's not a bad time to be Jason Smith or any other member of the Sixers squad. They're only inches away from locking up a playoff birth. ESPN's Henry Abbott spent some time with the team earlier in the week and has a great article about where this team came from and how they were shaped into what they've become. I'm glad Mo Cheeks has had the opportunity to turn this team around. [via Deadspin]

Staying back and helping a ball boy with his shot...

That is class at it's finest. I was clamoring for Cheeks to be here a few yrs before he was signed and I couldn't be happier right now with him, Stefanski, and the team as a whole. I think they'll definitely be able to lure a big name here in the offseason.
