Sammy Dalembert's Frohawk Not Helping

Via FanHouse we get this photo of Sammy D's new mohawk (frohawk?) which he had freshly buzzed for tonight's game five in Detroit. The power of the 'hawk doesn't seem to be helping their game all that much as the Sixers are losing by a dozen. Another image as well as video of the hair artistry below.

Can it score?

Not only are the Pistons on fire, but they've gotten a ton of calls. The 76ers just didn't play with energy on defense. And on offense, Miller's missed 5 or 6 bunnies. I hope they play a good Game 6. When the Pistons shoot like they have the past two games, they are unbeatable. But AI just had a sick dunk!

Well...the Phils are going to finish above .500 in April...that's good.

Didn't really get it. Ok, you won two games in the playoffs, congrats. But take it easy man. Kind of annoyed me for some reason.

About the calls.... yes, the sixers have been outplayed for disturbingly long stretches in the past few games, but Jesus. It seems like every 50:50 call goes the Pistons' way. I'm thinking specifically of AI's non-charge of Hamilton when they still had a shot on Monday, and about 3 out of bounds calls a game that go to the Pistons by default. Maybe they just have the veteran thespian skills (or just veteran respect), but it seems like every little handcheck is called when Rip is making his way to the hoop, while Miller and AI have been mauled several times with no call (both in Auburn Hills and in Philly)
Now, I expect a certain amount of home cooking in the NBA, but we didn't get any calls at the Wok this weekend. I would really like to see Reggie Evans put an elbow in Tay's throat on his first drive. If we're gonna get called on the ticky-tack shit, at least make it count.
Oh yes, and giving any player on the Pistons 3-4 seconds to eye up their open jump shot does not qualify as defense. The Sixers need to stop jerking each other off over their resurrection and play the sort of nasty, ugly, fast game that will bury Detroit.
I've got my ticket, I'll be doing my part. Just hook us up with a dancer shot and game 7 here we come!

oh yeah, has it occurred to anyone else that the sixers could really use a goofy tall white kid to hit some outside shots? Someone like, say Kyle Korver?
Billy King is looking smarter by the day.... I'm drafting a personal letter of apology.

you can't do that in the middle of a series sammy.

I'm glad we moved Korver. It opened up a spot for Thaddeus Young that wouldn't of been there if Korver was there. I liked Kyle, but he wasn't a starter, he was a specialist. The defense and boards Young gives you is much more valuable.... Hate to say it but I agree with 'Sheed. Sammy looks like a disgrace and I think stupid crap like that affects the team negatively when your down by 15 in the 1st. Mo: the fro must go... yo.
