And Even More Thoughts on Birds Draft
I actually wrote up my FanHouse post regarding the Eagles draft before I read Matt's post. So while I say many of the same things, I thought them independently. I swear!
I also gave them a letter grade if you're into that sort of thing.

Considine cut? Somebody up there loves me.

Just out of curiosity, now that we've seen how the pieces fell, who would you have taken at 19th?

I probably would have been excited if they took Jones or Mendenhall. BWest will only last so long.
When you put the question like that, it makes me appreciate the trade they made a little more.

I read today that everyone's favorite PSU son, Anthony Morelli was signed by Arizona today. That QB picture is looking so nice in the desert with Leinart out getting wasted with 18 year olds (most likely as I type this), Warner's arm about to fall off, and now Morelli's football IQ of 40 riding the bench. Good luck Larry Fitzgerald...

From Peter King's MMQB "On the draft-trade chart, the 19th-overall pick is worth 875 points. If you assign Carolina an average 2008 season and give them the 16th pick in the first round next year, this trade will be worth 1,546 points on the trade chart -- almost double what the 19th pick is worth."
