The Elusion and the Catch
When you think of historic Super Bowl moments, the play in which Eli Manning pulled a Donovan-esque elusion from the grasp of the multiple Patriot defenders and then heaved a prayer that was somehow, amazingly, caught by David Tyree... that play is among the most impressive ever.

Lady Luck doesn't even support Philadelphia...

You just have to wonder... who's the last athlete on a Philadelphia pro sports team that elevated his game like Eli did?

Man alive...Pats fan here, but you got to give it to that Giants Defense, and the Pat's Defense made two huge slip-ups at the end there. That missed interception by Samuels and then the "in the grasp", play of the ages. I think that Play was simply awesome and I'm glad that Eli did this.. Sure I'm a bit sad, but the hoodie and Brady will hopefully be back and now they realize how hard it is to go all the way. Two mistakes cost them this game. If he's in sacked.. probably game over.. and intecept it, and it's done.
Finally a good final game, huh?

Inspired play like the Giants' final scoring drive makes you wish the Eagles could get the same chance to win a Super Bowl. Down 3 or 4 points with just enough time left for Donny to step up and march the team down the field for the win...
Oh.
