Super Tuesday Extras: Spectrum Game?
What to read as you wonder if "Yes, We Can" applies to any Philadelphia sports teams.
- St. Joe's won the Holy War last night at the Palestra.
- The Sixers lost a tough one to the Hawks in Atlanta last night after leading by 20 early. The Comcast video highlights show that the Sixers can be a very fast paced, run the court type team leading to many an open dunk. Winning on the other hand may take some time. Andre Miller put in 29 and continued to increase his trade value. [Video]
- It looks like those rumors of the Sixers playing a game at the Spectrum this season have some legs. [Video]
- Joffrey Lupul is out at least another week. [Inqy]
- A nice little video showing that the dunk contest can still be fun. [TrueHoop]
- As I mentioned in a post late last week, most of the best content coming out of Super Bowl week was produced by blogs. [Deadspin]
- Arlen Specter is Comcastic.
- Need a 2008 calendar? One of our fave local sites, PhillySkyline, has a nice one.
- The Eagles are currently have 45:1 odds to win the Super Bowl. [Sox&Dawgs]
- Yep, Santana is really on the Mets. Damnit. [Metsblog]
Here's a little video to kick start your day.

If the Sixers do indeed play at the Spectrum I will snatch up tickets real quick for one last game there. It'd be awesome.

The Sixers should play all of their remaining games at the Spectrum. At least the arena wouldn't look so pathetically empty on tv.
