The Knicks ... THE KNICKS are 'miles ahead' of Sixers
The Sixers lost last night to the New York Knicks. Usually a Sixers loss is unremarkable. We expect losing these days. But this is a loss to the Knicks, a team Mark Narducci describes as being "miles ahead" of this Sixers squad. You know you have some serious issues when Isiah Thomas' Knicks are miles ahead of you.

Um, I definitely wouldn't say miles ahead at all. We have way more young talent, and a much better coach. I think Narducci is just trying to find something interesting to write about in this dismal season

This game was close; Narducci is definitely exaggerating for effect.
Comparing the Knicks and Sixers is sort of silly considering that one team is undertalented and actively/openly rebuilding, gathering assets to reshape themselves this summer. The other team is architected by a man who has destroyed everything he has touched as an executive.

Mark Narducci- What an idiot, he does realize he's talking about the Knicks right?
Like John said, two completely different teams one-the Sixers- are supposed to suck- while the Knicks are supposed to be looking to the playoffs.

Mark my words: The Sixers suck, yes, but they're going to win a championship before the Phillies do. That's because Ed Stefanski WANTS to build a championship team. The Phillies brass' top priority is profit margin. (If Mark Cuban or Pat Croce bought the Phillies then they'd be primed to march down Broad Street for the next couple of seasons.) Only if some of our minor league pitchers (Carrasco, Outman, etc) emerge as bona fide stars do we stand a realistic chance to win the whole thing. My fear is that Rollins, Howard, Utley, et al are going to be set up for numerous near misses like the Eagles of past years. They deserve better than that and I hope they prove me wrong. Ahhh I'm going way off the point. It's obvious I'm more of a baseball fan. But I really do believe the Sixers are lucky to have Stefanski and he'll get them back on track soon.
