Kyle Korver and Jazz Top Sixers
Andre Iguodala led the way for the Sixers but his 30 points were not enough as the Jazz won in Utah by a final of 110-107. Derron Williams continues to be one of the leagues best point guards and it showed last night as Williams dropped 20 dimes to go along with his 15 points. Louis Williams seems to be taking the reins from Andre Iguodala as the Sixers daily highlight sensation. The play of the night for Louis was started when he blocked 6-11 Mehmet Okur of the Jazz and raced down the court to receive an alley-oop from Andre Miller.
The quote of the night comes from the Inquirer's Marc Narducci regarding Utah's treatment of new Sixer Gordan Giricek:
Giricek checked in with 4:13 remaining in the first quarter to a chorus of boos.
Whenever he touched the ball, the fans booed. That was Utah's way of showing its displeasure to a player who had fallen out of favor with coach Jerry Sloan.
At least the booing could get Giricek used to playing in Philadelphia.
Zing!

if anybody can find video of LouWill's efforts, that'd be hot. For some reason Penn does not get any Comcast channels, severely limiting my ability to watch Sixers Flyers and Phillies without actually going to the game. and NBA.com didn't have it in the highlights.
