Golden Boy Makes More Than Paterno

When JoePa's salary was made public this week, we were a bit surprised that it was about half what many people thought it was. More surprising is that Temple head coach Al Golden makes more than Paterno, his former coach (in base salary anyway):

Joe Paterno’s salary has been revealed to be $512,664. Just in case you were wondering, Temple’s Al Golden pulls in double what any other MAC  coach makes:  $575,000.

"Teacher say, Student do" indeed.
