Wow. Amazing Win For Boston College
Wow. Perhaps the best atmosphere I've ever seen at a bar while watching a sporting event. I was holed up at Porters on M Street in D.C. Honestly, I forgot what "For Boston" sounded like. It was amazing. Still kind of in shock that a team I root for actually pulled one out. Amazing victory.

I just caught the last 5 minutes of the game, Ryan looked like Heisman candidate in the final 2 drives (and then he puked and reminded me of McNabb).

The Hawk will never die... lol.
Both those teams were horrible last night.

I'm very happy for the sports fans in Boston. They've really been starved for success in the last few years, so maybe this will help turn things around for them.

It's a good thing VT is not good at all, but if you're a BC fan, you've got to be scared that the team that wasn't very good dominated your team defensively for 57 1/2 minutes. If I was a BC fan, I'd be hoping that they lose soon, because if they play in the National Championship game....they're going to get embarrassed.

Psst: Porters is on 19th, not M. Great bar if you like miniature TVs.

I wasn't impressed with the bar itself, but the crowd was awesome. All sorts of BC alums in the house. Good times.

Enrico -
You must be very proud. It must almost make up for the pain that you feel when you hear the phrase "Glenn Foley - Boston College graduate."
