This Mets Fan Is Not Happy
It's currently 10-5 in the 6th at New York after Greg Dobbs pinch hit Grand Slam. They must have shown this Mets fan about 17 times today after every Mets error or mistake.
Poor guy must be having a tough day.
We salute you, Mets fan on the CW. We appreciate your anger and we thoroughly enjoy it.
UPDATE: And the Phils come through with ANOTHER sweep. Wow. As I said yesterday, the Mets may have the division all but wrapped up, but the Phils sure owned them over the last 8 games. Amazing.
Jimmy Rollins has made his case as one of the games exciting, balls out, all around great players.

Im stuck watching the gamecast on MLB.com. I started screaming at the screen when it said "Greg Dobbs hits a grand slam."
I wish I could see the pain on that guys face live.

Enjoy is an understatement. Thrive is more like it.

So does Cole announce he's coming back now that there's 13 games left and we are at worst 1.5 games back after today?

They already said Cole would be pitching Tuesday a couple days ago, but from what I understand he will be limited to 75 pitches.

Great to see that shot of all the Muts fans leaving in the 6th inning.

At the time, I thought the exodus was a bit premature given the Phils 'pen. They made it hold up today. Amazing to be only 3.5 out.

What a typical Mets fan... I swear I saw him mouth the words "This is Bullshit" at least twenty times. Wake up "Anthony," this isn't bullshit, your team just isnt that good!

Wouldn't that be "Ant-ny" the way they pronounce it?

yeah... good catch!

I could care less, you can beat us everytime we play you in a year and as long as you are still runner up, it dosen't mean a thing
Posted by: NyMetFan | Monday, September 17, 2007 at 02:43 PM
it dosen't [sic] mean a thing
Yes it does. It means your team can't beat ours. Good luck not losing to an 83-win team in the playoffs.
Enrico, that picture is this close to becoming my desktop wallpaper.

SPD,
good luck to the phillies in the playof...oh, that's right, they won't be there.

You guys are ridiculous. The point of playing regular season games is to make it to the post saeason, somewhere the Phils haven't been in a LONG time. So have fun laughing it up over a few regular season games. Hey, when it's all you got, it's all you got. We'll be rooting on The Mets in the playoffs. Thanks. 'Night, 'night.

Season's not over yet, Mutts fans. Not while your boys keep letting the Phillies back into it. Sooner or later, you'll choke. It's just a matter of time.
Looks like you really did take the Braves place in the NL East!

As far as the last 2 posts go, why are you even on this site? I don't know where you're from, but if you're not a fan of Philly sports, get the hell outta here.
GOOOOOO PHILLIES!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to piss you off, jack-off. Can't blame me about your organizations unwillingness to sign quality pitching. You guys are a chump organization who gets some wins here and there, but still think the season ends in september. good luck with the wild card, boys! San Diego's tough...
