Trotter's Parting Words
It's not everyday you find yourself sad to see a player go. It probably means that he played the right way while he was here. Trot was a good one and he left with his head up.
"I just told them it was a privilege to play here," said a choked-up Trotter during a news conference, three hours after the Eagles announced his release. "Everyone gets to this point in their career at some point or another. Now it's my time. I'm just thankful that I spent this many years here in Philadelphia. I truly believe that if you were to cut me I'd bleed green. Even when I went away for those two years (in Washington) I was always an Eagle at heart, and I will always remain an Eagle."
"No matter what happens from here on -- whether I go somewhere else or retire -- I can honestly say that during my time here in Philadelphia I left it all on the field."
>>An Emotional Exit For Trotter [Eagles]

I hope trotter retires and takes on a role somewhere else in organization. a coach or some kinda role sorta like hugh douglas.

Quick! Fire someone at WIP and get this guy a full time job staying in town!
I'd hate to see him on the other side of the line of scrimmage this year!

I'd love to see him on the other side of the line of scrimmage this year. Imagine him trying to cover westbrook/LJ/Celek over the middle. McNabb would pick him apart.

Right Ray, unless he is planting McNabb in the turf face first, which he can still do.
He just better not end up in the NFC East.

If they cut Reid, he'd bleed honey mustard.
