Good To See You, Five

Well Eagles fans, the time has come.  We all know Donovan McNabb has his fair share of detractors in this city, but even they know that if we want a parade down Broad Street, our hopes hinge on the arm, scratch that, the knee of number five.

I don't want to come off as a Donovan McNabb apologist again, but every year I truly believe he can be the guy to get us that championship.  By no means do I think the Eagles are a favorite to win anything this year, I'm just saying with a healthy  Super Five taking the snaps we always have a chance.  The question remains: is McNabb ready to go?

Donovan will see live action for the first time since that horrible November 19th day against the Titans.  This will most certainly be the most watched Eagles preseason game since terrible old 81 put on the Iggle green.

What a surprise...Mama McNabb is in the cast. Give her a chunky soup commercial and all of a sudden she's everywhere.

No wonder Super 5 is so miffed about them taking Kolb...he's built himself a media-based pressure cooker with high expectations (beyond the normal fan expectations), and all of a sudden he's got actual pressure to perform on top of it or he gets benched.

anyone else going to see DonoMac play tonight?

I will be there.

I'm a little conflicted about McNabb playing tonight. I guess he's gotta get out there sooner or later - but it just seems so risky, with him (admittedly) not being at 100% yet.

Personally, I wouldn't care if he didn't start until the third or fourth game of the season ...
