Free agent linebacker Dhani Jones announced on NFL Network today that he has signed a free-agent contract with the New Orleans Saints.

This reminds me of a funny story.

This past season I was talking football with some people at some sort of party or something. These guys knew their stuff. One of them was a Saints fan and when he asked me who my team was, I said the Eagles. He proceeded to bust up laughing and said, and I directly quote "You guys are so stupid! You gave up Mark Simoneau! Thanks for the gift, he's awesome!" You may think this was sarcasm, but he was totally serious. He was completely ga ga for Simoneau.

To that Saints fan, wherever you are, THANK YOU for signing Dhani Jones!!!! You just took your already weak linebacker core, made it even weaker. I can't thank the Saints enough for scooping up our LB trash. I hope our linebackers, who are much bigger this year, pound Reggie Bush into the ground in even harder in week 16 than Sheldon Brown did in the playoffs when he made the hit of the season.

Nobody is picking the Eagles to win the NFC. I think they got snubbed. Maybe I just have high expectaions of them, especially this year. If they play to their potential they should be the NFC champions.

Bowtie boy was going to be a backup for the Eagles. He would have been a good backup IMO. Not quite adequate enough to be a starter though. Not sure what the Saints are thinking.

Ummm first of all Sheldon Brown did hit bush hard but ummmm. someone refresh my memory... who came back not affected by the hit and had an awsome game....

and I wouldnt just talk smack about Dhani Jones because with the Giants he was a pro bowl type LB.. Thats because they had good coaches, all the eagles have is jim johnson....

I sure hope yall dont meet up with the saints in the playoffs.. I have to agree with u on that.. but its not because they singed dhani jones.. its because theyre 10 times better than the eagles!!!
