L.J. May Not Be Perfect, But at Least His Mom's Not a Criminal
In Part 2 of what I never imagined would be a multi-part series, we've received news today that L.J. Smith again compares favorably to another NFC East team's tight end. Oh, maybe not on the field of battle per se, but definitely on the field of moral fiber and family values (or, the Internet). Previously, we saw how L.J. edged Washington's Chris Cooley for not wearing Hooters shorts, and today, we can be proud that his mother has yet to be arrested for passing forgery and theft like a certain Mrs. Kimberly Witten (we think). Deuce of Davenport wonders what Roger Goodell will do about this one, and why Jason Witten let his momdukes get so bad off that she's committing identity theft.
Ball's in your court, Jeremy Shockey and family. I can't believe you're the last NFC East tight end to make news this off-season.

Well we don't know if Shockey wears hot pants or not... he doesn't even bother to show up for his team's off-season workouts.
Score one more for L.J.

Maybe Jerry Jones refused to pay Witten last season for his less than stellar performance.
16 games/1 touchdown
Mike Patterson had as many td's as this clown.

This doesn't really have anything to do with Jason Witten, but it does have to do with the Cowboys.
I just heard a rumor that Larry Johnson could be on his way to Dallas in exchange for a 1st round draft pick (which Dallas has an extra of thanks to Cleveland trading up for Brady Quinn) and some aging players, perhaps Flozell Adams. I don't know how much warrant this rumor holds, but the source says that it could definitely happen.
I know that rumors are rumors, but I personally would not want LJ in this division. I think that this could quite possibly put the Cowboys over the top as the front runner in the division. I love LJ to death as a player, but I really hope he stays where he is.
