We Found Mamula!
Where's Mike Mamula you ask? Judging chili cook-offs in New Jersey off course.
The Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce is hosting the cook-off at the 4-H Fair Grounds on Route 77 in Mullica Hill. The Chamber looks to make the day memorable with something for every member of the family to enjoy.
"The goal of the event is to provide a fun-filled day for the entire family," said chamber president Rhone Carr.
The cook-off begins at 11 a.m. with the West Deptford Marching Band performing the national anthem and with the Master of Ceremonies Andy Kortman from Crusin' 92.1 FM. Other famous faces who will be in attendance are former Philadelphia Eagles players Irvin Fryar, Mike Chalenski and Mike Mamula who will be judging the chili cook-off alongside chief judges Dave Lorenz and Steve Falkowski as stated in a Chamber of Commerce press release.
The sad thing about this is, Mamula is the third biggest name at this thing behind Irvin Fryar and El Wingador. If you're interested in attending the cook off and are strapped for cash, don't worry. Tickets are sold by the car-load or motorcycle. Awesome.
