Subway Diet Makes You Weak

Based on his home run total this year compared to last, I think maybe Ryan Howard should go back to eating cheesesteaks.  Today's Daily News points out that Ryan Howard will be featured tomorrow in the latest Subway ad with the now infamous Jared.  I'm all for athletes doing what they have to do to pay the bills, but Subway spots with Jared just don't seem to build up your mythic legend as one of the games all time bashers.

Look for the spot during Saturday's Red Sox/Yankees game on Fox.  Personally, I would have loved to see Howard in a spot for Big League Chew. (Grape)  What would The Big Guy be a perfect spokesman for?

I do believe Howard needs to shed a few LB's but this is the proverbial shark jump.

I effing hate that giant douche bag Jared. He's probably a nice guy but i want to punch him in the teeth every time i see him.
I don't hate him nearly as much as i hate Subway for continuing this shit hole ad campaign. I've never eaten at a Subway and i never will.

This year Howard would be a great spokesman for Robitussin cause he's been choking alot lately.

Mike brings up Strahan, who didn't play that well this year. The curse continues, but Howard just doesn't seem that superstitous to be (as far as ballplayers go).

In the commercial, Subway should knock one "outta hyere" when Howard smashes Jared down with his bat then tells the audience, "I'm back!" then says...."oh yeah, ....Subway."
That's a campaign I could live with.
