Rough Week For The Pride of Havertown

It has been a rocky couple of days for Havertown native Joey Crawford.  He's been suspended for the remainder of the year for the bizarre incident with Tim Duncan. [ESPN]

He really should be called the embarassment of Havertown after Sundays performance. I can't say anything about the first T, but the second T seemed to be wrong and the result toss of Duncan was inappropriate.

Joey Crawford is a good guy and a great official. He lost his temper the other night and that is something he will have to pay for. Duncan, however, did deserve the 2 Ts and the ejection. Crawford needed to handle it better, but hopefully he'll be back calling games in the fall.

I guess he is going to pay....suspension for the rest of the season including the playoffs. And it is uncertain whether he will be re-instated.

Yeah. It's still too much for what happened. All the stuff that officials take form the players with little punishment compared to this one incident is startling.
