Andy Reid: The Softer Side

Andy Reid writes poetry.  Not only does he write poetry, he's quite prolific.  For those used to watching Andy Reid's press conferences, you will surely be shocked out how open he is in this piece.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't it seem like he's teaching his son to hold? "Grab his jersey and throw him to the side."

Mmmmm...peanut butter blossoms. I don't know what they are, but they sound delicious. The part about Holmgren was funny. Every time my girlfriend sees Holmgren on TV, she says "Look! Andy Reid's twin!"

My first thought upon seeing Andy Reid for the first time eight years was, "I didn't my dad coached football!"

My first thought upon seeing Andy Reid for the first time eight years was, "I didn't know my dad coached football!"

I heard Andy and J.J. Reddick are publishing a poetry anthology entitled "Clock Management, Jump Shooting, and Thirsty Nights in Durham."

Great insight into the life of our favorite coach. Hard to believe, but I think this is the first human interest story I've seen on Big Red.

Good post.
