Rumor: Phish to Reunite @ Spectrum
There have been a number of rumors going around the Internet that Phish is planning to reunite next year and the venue of choice may be our very own Spectrum. The base of the rumor says that the Spectrum has been booked by Dionysian Productions for Halloween 2006.
There have been a number of interviews lately with Trey Anastasio including one that aired on 88.5 XPN which hinted at a desire to get the band back together.
Halloween 2006 at the Spectrum would be roughly 10 years from (12/29/96) when I saw my very first Phish show ever, which also happened to be at the Spectrum.

Sounds heady!!
12/29/96 was one of my favorite Phish shows I have seen. Super intense Bowie, spectacular YEM with Instrument rotation and Harpua. Amazing second set! I hope they come back with those levels of energy.

I got the news from a source other than phantasy tour, but PT was also reporting very similar things.
There were also some hints at a show in Camden during the summer and an MSG run prior to the Halloween show in Philly.

The source I heard it from has pretty much been correct on every rumor that he has thrown out. He is definitely friends with someone close to Trey.

its all over the online phish universe now. were you guys aware of JEMP Records? speculation is that JEMP stands for Jon, Ernest, Mike, & Page. JEMP is the company promoting the new NYE '95 album and they even have a website www.jemprecords.com. this is too much to handle!
i was living in Alaska in 2004 and wasnt able to see any shows that tour. the last show i was able to make it to was IT. i would be thrilled if the rumor was true.

Right, I actually did that yesterday. I don't think Phish would use godaddy, I think it is all a ploy by some Phish fans screwing with other Phish fans.
I can hope not though.

Haha, I heard Jemp was the name of the mercedes truck that took all their equipment from show to show. If its all a joke it was well played and pretty funny. I do however think Phish will play again. We all know how impulsive Mr. Anastasio is. I just hope he is sober when the time comes.

I will not speculate on the rumors, but i will say that for someone who was 9 at the 95 new years eve show; i would love to see phish play again. i only got to see 4 shows and they were all at deer creek----so i hope it happens!
p.s. i saw trey solo and it was great---but i think that he knows phish is his most prolific project ever---he HAS to want to play with them again
